Two weeks ago we had some eggs arrive at the school, and it didn’t take long for them to hatch into 9 happy chicks! It was a great experience for the children to see how they hatched from their eggs in the incubator, to running around energetically in their cage.
Not only did the children experience life cycle growth first hand, the programme also encouraged social interaction and promoted caring and nurturing skills. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our chicks today, they were a great addition to the classroom!
