The Year 6 hockey team went to the Olympic Park Hockey Centre to play in the LBWF hockey tournament. On a very cold day our pupils played with skill and determination, winning all but one of their group matches.
The team progressed to the afternoon and the knockout stages of the tournament. They comfortably won the first match and went through to the semi-final against Green Leaf School. Despite playing well, Green Leaf went ahead but Normanhurst fought back and drew level. Unfortunately, Green Leaf scored just before the whistle.
