On Friday 20 April Year 1 enjoyed their trip to the Emirates Aviation Experience and cable car ride.
The children learnt all about the Emirates Airbus A3080, the largest passenger plane in the world! Their tour guide Rebecca taught them all about the how the plane is powered, how many passengers the plane can hold and how many different countries around the world Emirates fly people to. After lunch they were able to experience being a pilot using the simulators, before ending the day with a round trip on the cable cars. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by both children and teachers, with fantastic weather to top it all off.
