Year 3 have been investigating the different rock types, classifying rocks as igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic, and then grouping rocks between natural or man-made. We are lucky enough to have a number of samples of the different types of rocks, so the class could get hands-on, investigating and feeling the different types.
