Wedding fever has started at the Spinney care home! We were invited to join them for ‘Posy for a Princess’ last week. The residents had been busy working with a florist creating and making posies fit for a princess, which was a competition to be judged by the Mayor of Waltham Forest. Unfortunately she was unable to attend due to other commitments, so the Right Honourable Judge William stood in for the Mayor.
The children had fun chatting with the residents, with some even making posies themselves before helping with the judging and handing out of the flowers.
It was lovely to see our children interact with the residents so well and always be on their best behaviour.
