As a part of their PSHE curriculum, Year 9 pupils have been completing a First Aid project with Mrs Prior. In their most recent session the pupils were given a practical CPR workshop in which they learnt how to help someone who is in cardiac arrest. To do this pupils worked with manikins learning how to give CPR in a series of simple steps including chest compressions and rescue breaths.
The session was both enjoyable and highly informative for all of the participating pupils.
