Year 10 GCSE French Trip

On Thursday 21 June, the Year 10 French pupils went to the Institut Français du Royaume Uni, in South Kensington, to celebrate the so-called fête de la musique, the French national music day. The day started with a dynamic quiz based in the Institute’s library, where pupils were asked to answer some music-related questions, by reading through French language books, and listening to CDs and DVDs.

The afternoon continued with the screening of the film entitled La Famille Bélier, starring Louane Emera, winner of the César award for Best promising actress, to end the day in tune.  The film was in French with English subtitles, and both the pupils and the staff thought it was moving and very funny at the same time!
