The Nursery/Reception School is divided into one Early Years Foundation Stage.

Early Years Foundation Stage:
Nursery (2½ - 4 years) and Reception (4 - 5 years)

The Nursery and Reception offer caring and supportive learning environments and place a high value on kindness, helpfulness, sharing, courtesy and respect for others.  Both classes apply the Early Learning Goals,  which comprise the following areas of learning:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Communication, Language and Literacy
• Problem Solving, Reasoning & Numeracy
• Knowledge and Understanding of the World
• Physical Development
• Creative Development

The curriculum is broad and balanced and develops good learning habits and thinking skills from an early age.
