Vision/Ethos

The unique character and spirit of Normanhurst are its most valuable assets. Within an atmosphere of warmth, friendliness and openness and through our unique setting and traditional family approach we aim to ensure that every pupil is nurtured and encouraged to develop his or her full potential. We believe that all our children should experience equal opportunities through a broad education that aims for excellence.

We believe that praise is important and that every child should feel valued.  We teach respect for others and our surroundings and understanding of right and wrong, so that our pupils may become valued members of the community.  With an emphasis on courtesy, manners and respect, we allow pupils to fulfil their potential by working together for the benefit of each other.

Our 21st Century Motto is:
Today’s Child is Tomorrow’s Future
