Despite a very busy week that included four performances of their Nativity play and a trip to the Pantomime, in true Normanhurst spirit Kindergarten to Year 2 took a short trip to the local care home, the Spinney, to entertain the residents with a repertoire of Christmas songs. They brought smiles and laughter to the residents’ faces with their enthusiasm and ‘cuteness’.
Their teachers were very proud of how well behaved they were on their visit. It was clear that they brought a lot of happiness to the residents, and this was especially evident when they all sang back to their young visitors. The staff at the Spinney would like to thank all the children for their singing and to wish all the Normanhurst family a very happy Christmas.
