Year 7-9 pupils were given an assembly by a representative of Gideon’s Bibles, John Green.
Mr Green began by giving a context to the origins of the bible in relation to history. He also spoke to our pupils about the universal themes and messages contained within the bible and how they are relevant to young people in modern society.
At the end of his presentation Mr Green offered a copy of the New Testament and Psalms as a gift for our pupils to take away and read.
