Year 6 have started Art lessons with the topic of ‘capturing movement in drawing’. The children studied how the body is postured while it is still, and then again when it is moving. They also looked at the various positions of legs and arms during movement. They tried to capture these in their sketches and drawings, while also experimenting with drawing different moving objects.
