Over the past few weeks Year 2 have been practising their rugby skills ahead of their Rugby festival which took place this week. The class learnt how to pass the ball to each other using two hands, as well as learning different techniques to help them play the game. Everyone enjoyed learning a new sport with a different shaped ball!
On Tuesday 9th October the pupils put their skills into practise at the Rugby Festival. Everyone played really well in the festival and it was great to see all the children working as a team and playing to the best of their ability.
Leo and Kenya said “It was nice to learn about a new sport and use the skills we learn in our PE lessons”.
