Getting to Grips with Higher Level Punctuation

In our most recent SPaG lesson, Year 5 were learning about how to use higher level punctuation. They had some teaching on the different names and uses of the punctuation, then they had to put this into practice. Miss Stone displayed sentences on the board with missing punctuation and then the children used punctuation magnets to fill in the blanks. This is what they have to say about the lesson:

It was a good lesson, we learnt a lot and it was fun. – Konrad

It was fun placing the punctuation magnets into the correct place, it made it different to other lessons. – Alicia

We got to understand punctuation in a fun way. – Charlie T
