Year 10 Explore the Natural History Museum

Year 10 enjoyed a trip to the Natural History Museum in London recently, exploring the various exhibits on display. A highlight was definitely the ‘Rocks the House’ event, where pupils discovered how tectonic plate interactions happen over different time scales, shaping landscapes, and how these processes can have profound effects on humans. Many pupils stood up in front of the audience to take part in action-packed demonstrations that helped to further their understanding of the subject.

It was a great way to extend learning outside of the classroom environment.
