Bus Stop Division in Year 4

Year 3 and 4 practised the bus stop division method in class recently.  They took part in an interactive class activity by becoming the numbers in the question. This method of division is often a lot quicker than chunking, especially when working with larger numbers. The activity was a great way for the children to develop their understanding of the subject in a fun way, with the pupils working together to get the answers to the mathematical problems correct.
