From September 2019 there are some major changes being made to the Oak-Tree Group structure and Normanhurst’s leadership team.
Mrs Osborn will become a Principal of of the Oak-Tree Group, with wider responsibility for areas such as education, staff development and the pursuit of excellence across the four schools. Whilst she will continue as Headmistress of Normanhurst School for the next academic year, it will be in a reduced capacity as we look to recruit a long-term successor to take over permanently from September 2020. Miss Moreen Barnard will become Head of School in a new role overseeing operational routines and day-to-day matters.
Mrs Osborn will hand over the Braeside Headship from September 2019 to Mrs Chloe Moon.
This move into a Group role will coincide with Mrs Osborn’s national appointment as Chair of the Independent Schools Association, which is the umbrella body to which we belong.
