Today was Moving Up Day at Normanhurst, pupils enjoyed spending a day with their new teachers in their new classrooms from September. Pupils from other schools even joined us for a day full of interactive activities.
A couple of the lessons included a team building Art lesson where the children created maps of their journey to school using coloured tape and a Science lesson filled with different coloured flames. The younger children also got a tour of some of the classrooms where they may be working from in September to help get them ready for the change.
It was a good chance for the pupils to get to know each other and form friendships ready for the new school year. What an exciting day.
