In Design and Technology, Year 7 were given a plain white t-shirt and, following research of designers and experimenting with techniques, each pupil created their own customised t-shirt. There were an amazing range of responses to the design brief with pupils really developing their own style as fashion designers!
Year 7 exhibited their work in the art room and invited the whole school to visit and cast votes for their favourite designs. The exhibition was visited by pupils from reception to Year 9!
Esta won 1st place for her inventive response, turning her t shirt into a beach skirt with matching necklaces. Diyar won highly commended for his fun and playful shirt which included smiley faces and pom-poms.
