Year 2 have been learning about the uses of everyday materials in their Science lessons. In previous lessons, they have learned about the kinds of materials used to build a house and have now completed an experiment to find the best materials to create a pair of children’s dungarees. They tested six different materials by rubbing a rock across each material for one minute, to see how strong they were. The children then wrote their own conclusions for which material they thought was the best material to use. Francesco said ‘It was really fun as we got to test six different materials!’.
