We are delighted that as a school we have not only reached and passed the Silver Award, but we have also now reached Gold status on the Green Tree Schools Award. Pupils are all very proud to have been presented with a beautiful wooden plaque in recognition of this achievement.
The initiative has seen more than 12,000 schools sign up since it was launched back in 2008, and has offered a fantastic opportunity to bring the great outdoors, wildlife and green issues into the classroom. Pupils have worked hard taking part in a huge range of activities including exploring the local forest, taking photographs, discussing issues and many more.
Well done, what an achievement!
