Some of Year 2 have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes in their Maths lessons. They have been using their powers of deduction to work out how many sides and vertices each shape has, and then testing each other about the different properties of the shapes. We also went on a tour of the school to find different 2D shapes around different rooms. We ended the week with some fun Maths games including finding different shapes on a grid and a classic game of Shape Bingo! The children have really enjoyed learning about shapes in real life!
