This term, Year 3 have been working extremely hard to learn how to read the time on both an analogue and digital clock. We started the topic learning, focussing on time both to the hour and reading time to half past, before moving on to quarter past and quarter to the hour. The children have found this topic learning challenging, but they love to be faced with a challenge. The children have really enjoyed using the mini analogue clocks to help their learning of the exact time to a minute. Their next challenge is to work out how to convert between a 12-hour and a 24-hour clock. Soon they will be masters at telling the time.
