Year 2 have been learning about children evacuees during World War 2 in their history lessons. For 2G’s class assembly, they explained to the Junior School all about children evacuees during this time, including rationing, the toys and games the children would have played with, and what life was like for these children during this time. Then, with the accompaniment of Mrs Jones, beautifully sang a rendition of ‘My Favourite Things’ from The Sound of Music. We are very proud of how fantastic they were!
