Year 1 and 2 took part in a Judaism workshop, exploring different aspects of Judaism including Jewish symbols and items, Passover and Hebrew writing. They each wrote the word ‘Shalom’ in Hebrew, which means ‘hello’, they created their own Seder Plate which is used on Passover, and they were able to handle some different Jewish items including a Mezuzah and a Torah. All the children enjoyed learning about the different topics and learnt a lot of new information. They even learnt a new song in Hebrew which they have been singing along to all month!
