The 2A class assembly was called ‘Strictly Come Writing’. We based it on this because the children in 2A really enjoyed watching Strictly Come Dancing and we tried to incorporate this theme with VCOP and writing. We had judges, contestants and hosts. There were also a few songs too, we had sang VCOP to the YMCA and also a song about VCOP to the tune of Frère Jacques. The children really enjoyed practising this and performed it very well. And a key point to take away is to ‘Keep Writing’.
