Year 9 and 10 students were joined by Braeside students at school today to listen to a fascinating presentation on astronomy. Colin Stuart is a renowned space writer, presenter and fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. He came to talk to us about how and why scientists study the Sun and the Moon, and about potential future trips to Mars and space that could become more attainable in the future for Artists as well as scientists. Students were encouraged to think about what it would be like to go into space. A very thought provoking and inspiring session.
