Over this past half term of home learning, Year 5 have been completing some wonderful art work that links to their learning in other subjects. In History, they have been learning about the Ancient Mayans and they have created traditional masks and murals to reflect their learning. They have studied the play Twelfth Night in English and created a ‘Storm at Sea’ image to reflect the boat crash scene from the play. In Geography, they have been learning about Alaska and have created their own version of Native Alaskan Animal Art. They have been working incredibly hard on these projects and have produced some amazing work. Miss Stone is a very proud teacher indeed!
