Cambodian Cultural Adventures

For the second half of the summer term Year 8 took a virtual, cross curricular trip to Cambodia! Music, Spanish, Drama, Science, Art and Design set students a variety of tasks to research and respond to different aspects of Cambodian culture. Cambodia was chosen as Normanhurst has been supporting the United World Schools Charity build and run schools there and we were excited to explore similarities and differences in our cultures.

Students produced a range of outcomes that brought together all of their knowledge in the different subjects into one presentation. Students really impressed all of their teachers with how they worked independently and discovered a wide range of interesting information about the country.
