Continuing to develop their visual language, Year 7 have been working to explore how designers and illustrators create book jackets that communicate a wide range of information about genre, atmosphere and story. The students started with research and experimentation of techniques and then developed their own designs for their favourite books. Students built on their skills in drawing, typography and layout and developed their knowledge of communication through design.
