Every Friday, our Early Year pupils like to put on their wellie boots and head to the forest. Recently, they have been learning all about hibernating animals, dens and, their favourite topic, the hedgehog! The children in Kindergarten created a den and loved pretending to be hedgehogs hiding in it. During the forest walk, Reception created a giant hedgehog picture with natural materials in the style of Andy Goldsmith. When they made it back to class, the pupils were surprised to find a lovely roaring fire and a super hedgehog snack for their afternoon treat!
