Year 5 have been learning about the Human and Physical features of the Earth in their Humanities lessons this term. Over the past few weeks, they have been comparing and researching different Human and Physical aspects from different countries around the world. For their last lesson, they were learning about Australia and were lucky enough to have a live ‘Q & A’ zoom with Katie, Miss Stone’s cousin, who lives in Australia to find out all the exciting things about Australia. They asked some very interesting questions and found out a lot of information. This is what they have to say about their Zoom call:
Selina – it was really fun to speak to an Australian person
Adam – it was really cool that we had the opportunity to speak to someone from so far away and learn a bit about their culture
Ilayda – we had so much fun and learnt some new things
Bahar – it was fun to see how different people live in different countries
William – I’ve always wanted to go to Australia and now, if I do, I know what to look out for
