This term year 3 will be focusing their learning on the topic of Ancient Egyptians. To begin their learning, over the Easter holidays Year 3 were set the challenge of building their very own 3-D Egyptian pyramids as well as researching about king Tutankhamen. The work produced was incredible, it was fantastic to see the variety of creative ideas that the children had in order to build their pyramids. Their 3D pyramids were made from a range of materials including, marshmallows, cardboard, fabric, foam and many more. The children also found many interesting facts about king Tutankhamen and were very surprised by some of the facts that they found.
Well done Year 3!
