During Maths Week the Year 2s were learning about Pythagoras. They created a fact file and presented this in front of the class. Here is what they had to say...
Irina: I really liked writing about Pythagoras because I like maths and I like learning about what happened a long, long time ago. I also really like education and writing.
Noah-Hussain: I enjoyed making the poster about Pythagoras. My favourite fact that I found was: “Did you know, Pythagoras was really into triangles!”
Enis: I liked designing my poster and finding out lots of interesting facts about Pythagoras. He was born a very long time ago in Samos.
Izah: I enjoyed making the poster and learning about Pythagoras. Designing the poster was fun. My favourite fact was: “Did you know, Pythagoras was really into triangles!”
Harvey: I liked this project because I like learning stuff from a long time ago. I enjoy learning maths and history.
Kelly: I enjoyed using the iPads to find the research. I was quite shocked when I found out where Pythagoras lived because I never knew he lived in Samos, Greece.
Emily: I enjoyed researching about Pythagoras on the iPads. It was really fun working together with my friends. We worked well as a team together and I didn’t know that Pythagoras was married or that he had 6 children.
Caitlin: I really liked designing the poster because it was fun to think about how to lay it out. I enjoyed sharing my poster with all of my friends too.
Zakariya: I enjoyed finding the facts on the iPad because I really like technology.
