On 7th October, Year 6 met a survivor and evacuee from World War II. The lovely gentleman’s name was Mr Brencher. He told us all about how he felt during the time he was evacuated and all the adventures he has experienced as an evacuee. Mr Brencher brought in a lot of lovely artefacts from the war to share with us. We even got to dress up like evacuee children. Overall the visit was great and it was very kind of him to take the time to visit us and share his experiences. We are very thankful and all wrote stories about his life to share with him.
