On Friday, the Year Four students had a fantastic forest walk in the lovely, bright sunshine. They enjoyed having the chance to make observations about the weather that day, noting down the cloud cover, temperature and wind speed and direction. Each of the children had a chance to use the digital anemometer to measure the wind speed and we then discussed how we could use a blade of grass to help us identify the direction the wind was blowing from. It certainly seems like we have some meteorologists of the future in Year Four!
