Year 6 Science

This term, Year 6 have been learning about Electricity in Science. After a lesson learning about the history of electricity, some influential scientists and also learning about voltage, they got the chance to create their own circuits.

Working in pairs, they had to create three individual circuits that would power a lightbulb, a motor and a buzzer. They had the added challenge to use a switch to control the circuit. After learning about the different symbols used to draw a circuit they were then able to draw their own circuits that they have created.

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed creating their own circuits and understood the power of electricity!
