Year 7 are working hard on their final music assessment of this term. They have been learning about music notation and how music can be used to send messages. Their final challenge is to compose a piece of music that contains a secret coded message. Some have been using morse code to create a piece, some have been using traditional notation and some have come up with their own unique musical codes.
They have also been given the opportunity to create their pieces using Garageband on the brand new Music Macs. Here are some pictures of 7P as they started to use the software. Mrs Jones is really looking forward to hearing the finished pieces next week.
