Year 6 were learning about the ways to stay safe and healthy when cooking and preparing food in their recent lesson. They learnt about the correct way to clean a surface and how to hold a knife and prepare food. They made food with a Christmassy theme including ‘Snowballs’, ‘Santa Hats’ and ‘Reindeer Cupcakes. They used a variety of healthy fruits and sweet treats to form their creations.
The pupils were all very sensible when cleaning and preparing their work stations and when using the equipment. They enjoyed eating the food as much as they enjoyed making it. Well done Year 6!
