What a wonderful afternoon the Early Years children had! They took a walk to a secret garden where they found not only a beautiful habitat for the class butterflies but a pond with frogs and dragonflies, it was magical. Everyone joined in as the butterflies were released into the wild and were able to follow their first flight as they landed on the trees and flowers. In the secret garden, they also found some ice lollies and so were able to have a very special afternoon snack before the short walk back to school.
