Parents & Pupils

We pride ourselves on the outstanding relationships we form with our parents.  From a brief chat at the start or end of the school day to more formal discussions about progress, we are readily available.

Parents are encouraged to be involved in the life of the school. Some are in the Parents’ Association, while others become parent readers or volunteer to accompany trips with the younger children.  We invite our parents regularly to plays, concerts, assemblies, sports days and events.

We hold informal Coffee Mornings for parents either in the Autumn or Spring Terms, and these are really useful for us to chat openly and listen to feedback.  It’s good to hear how pleased our parents tend to be with their children’s progress and useful to discuss constructive ideas for further development.

We try to give as much notice as possible of Parents’ Evenings, reports, tests and exams.
