Charity Work
All pupils are encouraged to help organise and support a range of activities to contribute to local and national charities. In doing so we feel it is important to raise their awareness that there are people in the world less fortunate, and that people’s practical needs can be met.
Normanhurst has a well-established Charity Committee, run by the pupils themselves, to raise funds for worthy local and national causes. Some of our chosen charities over recent years have been: Macmillan Cancer Research, Barnardos, NSPCC, British Heart Foundation, Poppy Appeal, Lifeboats and Children with Leukaemia.
